Who We Are

Michael Ayer (owner) Brilliant Vista Window Cleaning, LLC.

Mike is a graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH and attended University of New Hampshire. After deciding that academia was not for him, he entered the working world as a landscaper, then moved on to be a machinist, a millwright and welder. Still undecided with what he was going to be "when he grew up" and after reading many books on travel he decided to sell his house, cash in his 401k and hit the road.

In spring 2007 while working as a maintenance tech  in a historic hotel in Truckee, Ca. Mike noticed a window cleaning company cleaning windows at the business across the street. The window cleaner saw Mike looking at him and waved him over.  When Mike went over and introduced himself to the window cleaner, the man handed him a business card and said " If''n yer ever needing them winders cleaned, give a call". Mike took the card but after looking at the job the man was doing,  knew he would never call.

Not long after that meeting Mike bought a squeegee and a scrubber and decided to give window cleaning a try. He had plenty of windows to practice on at the hotel and soon people began to notice him cleaning them. Word got out and that was the birth of  Brilliant Vista Window Cleaning.

Mike was surprised with the demand for his service and soon had a full schedule. He had to leave the hotel just to be able to keep up. Things were going well but feeling homesick and with a baby on the way, Mike decided to move back to New Hampshire. In april 2009 Mike registered Brilliant Vista Window Cleaning with the state and is now open for business!
